Radiance opened her eyes. All around her was darkness. She reached out and felt nothing around her. Then she began to weep. She was afraid of the darkness. A voice in the darkness asked her what was wrong.
"Its dark and I'm alone and afraid." she confessed to the darkness and in the darkness she felt a hand reach out to her and hold her own hand.
"Dear sister. You are not alone. I am Crescent one of your many sisters. We were all bound in darkness until you came and now, because of your beauty we can all see."
"But all I see is darkness." Radiance said sadly. She felt her other hand get held and she knew she was not alone.
"It must be because you can't see your own beauty."Crescent realized. "You must look into my eyes. you can then see yourself in them."
Radiance looked out in the darkness and Crecent opened her eyes. suddenly there was light. and then as her sisters turned one by one there were lots and lots of lights. Then the light from crescent grew dim.
"what is wrong?" Radiance asked worriedly. but she felt herself hugged.
"Its just me blinking." Crescent laughted.
"Will you always look at me? to keep the darkness away?" Radiance asked her sister.
"Always."
